Brilliant size, few issues with cleaning that where sorted by ourselves and owner.

A great place to stay in a fabulous location.

Fantastic experience we’re working at sycamore hall care homes so was ideal great facilities will hopefully be booking for week after next

We booked the cottage for 6 of us so that we could have a weekend away. Really nice cottage with lots of room and amenities. A short drive to villages with cafes etc and lots of walks straight from the door. Cosy front room and nice kitchen area with everything you need to cook. Would definitely recommend.

The bed room with two single beds was furthest from toilet for the little during the night, though this didn't cause a big issue, holiday break was amazing.
Comfortable, clean, fire set, good facilities games for the children, really enjoyed the stay, weather could have been kinder but it didn't stop us taking the children and dogs on a lively walk on the moors. Thank you ?

A great location plenty of walks close by & pub in village.

Clean comfortable and well equipped cottage with good off road parking. Bainbridge was an ideal base for out short walking break in the Dales.

Spacious single story property in a pretty village setting. A clever blend of modern and traditional. Well equipped to self cater for adults and children and well placed to explore the delights of the Yorkshire Dales . Plenty of walks on the doorstep.

Excellent layout and facilities.
A few crumbs in Cutlery Drawer and cupboards and O2 mobile signal virtually non existent around the property (not your fault!) but otherwise fine?

Once you find the property, it is great space. The large open plan kitchen/diner is fabulous, but has the benefit of the cosier living room. Good location for access to destinations too!

Second visit, comfortable beds, fabulous location.

We had a great time at this property. Plenty of room for two families with teenage children. The smart tv is a great addition.

A stunning fully equipped property ideal for families. But this comes with faults I can't fault this property on space and how equipped it was to take a large group. The living space, kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms were all ideal for the holiday we wanted. However once arriving the problems began. Having arrived Friday night everything seemed fine all be it the beds been on the firm side. If you like a firm mattress this property is for you. However if you have a twinging back don't hope to be comfortable. Enjoying ourselves and how lovely the house was we proceeded into the weekend happy. From here it went down hill. The hot water never seemed to be fully hot and by Sunday evening gave up all together. Having contacted the company who contacted the owner, she appeared, had a look, couldn't do anything and assured us it would be sorted the following day which was Monday. Having had a sweaty walk up Whernside across to ingleton on the Monday we arrived back hoping for nice hot showers, unfortunately that wasn't the case as no one had come to sort the boiler out. Spending a second night contacting the company, who contacted the owner who appeared to not be able to sort it to then contact an electrician who came to find the switch for the electrical heater who managed to get some hot water heating. We had showers Tuesday morning before heading out. Presumably the hot water boiler got fixed that day as it was working when we got back and a message was left on phone to say it had been sorted .Wednesday arrived a nice hot day lovely walking and decided to use the BBQ outside on the evening to cook dinner. Strangely though 2 men landed through the side gate at 7pm just as we were about to eat announcing that they had come to 'disturb our peace' so they could cut the grass. Having been asked if it the needed to be done right now they left surly saying they thought it best to do it now as tomorrow was forcasting heavy rain tomorrow even though it was a clear hot day forcasted ahead by BBC.All in all extremely annoyed at what should have been a perfect holiday spent with family and for the money spent on it to find it full of niggles and faults was irritating and disappointing.

Very good cottage very large inside only 1pub in Bainbridge they had run out of wine and some spirits very poor
Good walks around this is not in Leyburn

Very comfortable spacious cottage with all available amenities you could possibly need.

Great house in a lovely little village, the local pub was excellent and the park are great for the kids. House is fairly modern and the open plan kitchen was perfect. We didn’t use the other room once I don’t I don’t think. Garden is well maintained and the sun was in the back all afternoon snd evening, it’s just a shame the outdoor dining area is just a picnic table which didn’t seat us all. We did have a problem with the next door neighbour but nothing that spoilt our weekend away. Would come back again, area is ideal for walking, quiet family holiday or friends wanting to spend time together.

Very well equipped and comfortable, you could cook Christmas Dinner for 7 with ease! The TV in the lounge is for DVD’s only, a player and selection of mostly children’s is there. For fans of All Creatures Great and Small (1978) the Kings Arms in Askrigg opposite Skeldale House is a must, and food excellent.

Location was stunning, very quiet and secluded. Good parking, nice patio, open plan kitchen/sitting room worked perfectly, spent all our time in there. Good supplies for stove, which was easy to light. Some refreshments also provided.
The kitchen cupboard arrangements were a bit odd, so we moved everything round to our satisfaction. More cleaning products could have been provided, but these are only small niggles.

We were 5 cyclists and the location was excellent for cycling around the area
we had no hot water for the first 24hrs but this was sorted the second day.

Great cottage with excellent amenities. Fully equipped with everything you need.

Fantastic location. Massively spacious. Easy to check in and out ourselves using the key safe. Clean upon arrival.
A couple of things could do with an upgrade as they're a bit dated, but nothing that impacts the quality of the stay.

Location was lovely
Photos show the only upgraded bit of the cottage. The rest was grubby and run down. Bearing in mind there's a £100 cleaning fee (which I'm assuming the last person also paid) it looked like it had a 5 minute once over. Decor outdated and mis matched furniture. Has the potential to be lovely

Well equipped, comfy beds

5 stars all around, fantastic place to wind down after a busy working period leading up to Christmas,
Very clean and looked after property in a lovely area, check in was simple and the property owner reached out on arrival to check everything was okay.

Highly recommend this cottage and look forward to visiting in future.

Wonderful place to stay. Very amenable for the disable member of our party. Great retreat to the hills.

A really lovely place with a wood burner and an open fire! Great for the winter evenings. Comma were excellent and everything as described. Would be more than happy to return here
