Cosy Cottage welcomes one well behaved dog.
We stayed at Cosy Cottage for 3 weeks whilst having some building work done, the cottage was lovely, really clean and just what we needed. Although we are local to the area, the gorgeous views, the farm shop & walks on the doorstep make the area the perfect place for a break and we would definitely recommend it.
Great location, close to Yorkshire Sculpture Park. We loved the sheep and horses in the fields to the rear of the property. The accommodation was cosy and clean.
Great cottage with a wonderful view of the Arqiva Emley Moor mast.
We only stayed a couple of nights, but the cottage was very nice and clean. The wifi was great which enabled us to work remotely during the day, and the location was in a very nice and quiet area. We didn't get the chance to explore the local area, but can definitely recommend this cottage as a base to explore from!
Immaculately clean and beautiful cottage tucked away in the countryside. Breakfast at the local farm shop was excellent value and quality. We would definitely like to stay again.
Great location and every thing needed to enjoy our stay
Warm and comfortable with everything you need. Great location for exploring the nearly Yorkshire Sculpture Park and Hepworth Wakefieid
Great base for visiting family in Huddersfield.
House was extremely clean and communication before hand was super easy.
We even had our own sheep from the living room window. Will be staying again when we’re next visiting family
a really nice little house, perfect location
Free car parking on site. Wifi very good signal. Property very clean and spacious. Welcome pack very helpful, including instructions for electrical appliances and list of nearby facilities (pubs, restaurants and cafes). Owner happy for us to take mam's budgie (in cage throughout stay and cleaned up on departure). Nearby Emley Moor transmitter tower made finding way back very easy.
Nothing, all good.
The cottage was warm
It said dog friendly but we only have a small dog so we couldn’t let him out without a lead as he would have got though the gaps in the gate . It also said no dogs upstairs but ours sleep with us as he is old and we don’t leave him . There was notes around the cottage saying what u can’t do which didn’t make u feel at home . We never met the owner which is fine but it did say on the email that they would greet us . It was a nice cottage but there was no TV in the bedrooms no Complimentary basket which in other cottages we have stayed in there has been I think it’s the small touches it didn’t have . There’s was no other channels than free View no DVD no books it was very basic
Lovley cottage, quite area and very clean. Had everything needed for a relaxing holiday
Clean and fresh nicely presented. Seating could be more comfortable as only a two seater sofa. Nice views of the mast but not many shops on the door step always best to stop off on way back if needing anything
Lovely terrace house in a great location near to great countryside with amazing view of the highest self supporting structure in the UK, Emley mast, very impressive. Lovely farm shop just down the road.
Not much space in the double bedroom
The thin curtains made it too light in bedrooms
Location, quiet room cottage. Very clean
All great, thanks
Great location. Fantastic farm shop a short walk away. Good location for Cannon Hall Farm too.
Place was spotless and had all the bits and pieces you need for cooking as well as good internet and TV.
Bath is sooo nice and views from the house are beautiful!
The neighbours are the owners and their family so we got some great tips on what to do for the day from them and they loved our dog which was lovely!
There were little pots of tea, coffee and sugar on arrival which was lovely.
Plenty of cleaning bits which was great to see!
We will be back!! Thank you
It is dog friendly which is amazing but please be aware the garden isn't enclosed and is next to a road. Also the outside space is parking for a few properties and is mostly gravel so you do need to keep an eye on the dog at all times. Just something to be aware of if you have any specific dog needs.
Also...there is only 1 allocated parking space next to the property even though there looks like plenty. If more than 1 car, you need to unload then move the car onto the road or working mens club opposite. This wasn't too clear when we booked on booking.com so just make note.
The dining table only sits 2 so just make note if you're a family.
This is a well appointed cottage that is exactly as shown in the photographs. Good location for the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and the Hepworth at Wakefield. Excellent view of the transmitter!
We had an excellent few nights stay at Cosy Cottage. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It is so close to Yorkshire Sculpture Park and Cannon Hall ( and so many other great places to visit).
Luxuriously appointed cottage.
Single beds were very creaky. Table could only seat 2 people.
Lovely quiet location great facilities comfy and well presented cottage.Super views and handy place to visit for beautiful walks.
Would have been nice to have an enclosed garden for our dog.
Lovely little cottage, well appointed and well equipped. Location was convenient for Yorkshire Sculpture Park. Very quiet. Only concern was the lack of pavements on the road. Nice farm shop nearby.
It had character and was just the right size for a few days away
It is classed as dog friendly but there was no garden and the downstairs was carpeted which is really impractical for muddy paws and potential pet toilet accidents.
Traffic on road near to property
The cottage was clean, spacious, easy to find and we had a great time staying there. The cottage is really quiet and is a great choice to relax and enjoy nature. Rooms upstairs are big and the beds are soft although the two single beds are really squeaky. Also, there are many choices for food and drinks in the area. It was a good stay overall.
Location was superb, farm shop only a 3 minute walk with gorgeous views. The whole place was immaculate with excellent shower/bath, fully working kitchen and TV. The WiFi was great also.
Fantastic stay overall, really impressed and would recommend to others for sure. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable and noisy but for the price I guess it was fine!
Lovely place, hosts were very welcoming, the lads loved staying there
Location, size - everything
We had a really enjoyable stay at No 7. The house was beautifully clean on our arrival, and everything we needed was on hand. The house handbook was invaluable.
A local shop in Enley was able to advise us where we could get good takeaway delivered to the house and the local farm shop, Thorncliff, between the house and Emley was outstanding - freshly made sandwiches on request as well as really good local produce for cooking. Great pies of all kinds.
We found plenty of sort local walks from the house for our dog, as well as bigger walls further afield. Great access to wonderful places.
Thank you for a good stay. We hope to come again.
Clean, tidy, lovely views
A warm, stylish, comfortable, cosy cottage in a lovely rural setting, but not quite luxury standard.
Stayed before, always very tidy, clean and comfortable with good facilities
Lovely cottage - clean, comfortable and well equipped. Would recommend to anyone.
Very enjoyable stay.
This is a nice self catering property, off of the main road so quite.
Property has all the facilities you require and is well decorated and furnished.
good wifi/internet connection as we all need these days.
Has no self contained garden or grass though does have table and chair outside front door on patio are by car park area.
Great location very relaxing
Very cosy, very clean and a lovely place to stay.
The cottage was beautiful and so clean, we all sleapt really well. It also had everything you need including a nice touch of tea and coffee with fresh milk for our stay. Would reccomend this cottage to anyone thinking of staying.
Everything it was perfect.
There was nothing at all not to like.
This property was ideal for what we was looking for. It was central to the two places we had already booked to visit.
The property was lovely and clean and had everything that we needed for our stay.
There wasn’t anything which we didn’t like.
Stayed at cosy cottage emley moor for 5 days. What a beautiful cottage and perfectly situated in a lovely rural area yet still only a short car ride away from plenty of attractions and things to do. The cottage itself is lovely and the attention to detail impressive, so many little touches that made our stay even better. It was just the 2 of us and our dog and they even leave things that are helpful for the dog. Totally enjoyed our time and cannot think of one negative so well done to all concerned.
The courtyard at the front had open access onto a main road no where for my dogs also cottage was carpeted throughout so no access to my dogs this let is very nice for adults only nice location good job I had family in the area so it took the pressure off
Everything, gorgeous find ?
Shower great, peaceful but close to everything we needed ?
The place was great - perfect size for 4 people. Comfortable, cozy, great amenities. Downfall was the lack of shampoo and conditioner (every Airbnb that I’ve stayed at has provided it so I didn’t bring any!), it’s on a farm property so there is a smell, and check in was a little confusing. Other than those minor details, great stay.
Very clean and comfortable accommodation, lovely location, nice and peaceful, good touches added such as fresh milk and local history
Lovely warm cosy cottage in a rural quiet area. . I really enjoyed my stay. Excellent WiFi, tv with free view. Nicely furnished and beautifully clean, fully up to date kitchen. Nice dog friendly pubs and garden centres nearby..
Be aware that the outdoor space is not enclosed.
A lovely cottage perfect for visiting the area. Only negative was the lack of a secure play area for children/dogs
Cottage as described. Very clean, nice to have essentials provided.
Lovely place , spotless clean , highly recommended
Soft towels, comfy beds, beautifully clean
Loose stone driveway
This is a lovely cottage in a lovely place! We plan to go back next year! It had everything we needed for four adults and looked modern and thoughtfully styled.
Cozy Cottage is a really lovely place to stay. Clean, comfortable, stylish and quiet; with everything you’d need inside, and beautiful countryside views outside. The self check-in was super easy and our email communication with Emily at Stay was very helpful.
Great place clean tidy great location what more could you ask for
The cottage was lovely. As a family we really enjoyed it and had some great down time and bonding time. The location is perfect to use as a base when explore the surrounding areas. Check process was easy and good communication from the host throughout our stay.
Lovely little gem of a place for a nice breakaway. Nice and peaceful surroundings outside as well.
Lovely cottage, very clean and tidy. The twin room is particularly spacious which is unusual. Attractive rural location. Lacks a decent sized dining table but otherwise perfect!
We had a really pleasant stay and thought the cottage was really charming, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. We loved the views from the windows, watching the horses and birds. It was pretty perfect for us. Thank you.
A little gem in a very tranquil location
Great cottage, very clean and cosy.
Lovely little cottage in a fantastic part of the world. Well equipped and as the name says - Cosy!
Immaculate property with a lovely cosy feel to it.
Nice well equipped place in a quiet location, but not too far from the Motorway, and plenty of parking. Weren’t staying as tourists but home movers working odd hours, suited us perfectly.
