Leyburn

Nestled above the northern bank of the River Ure in Wensleydale is the market town of Leyburn. Known as the ‘town for all seasons’, Leyburn is quintessentially charming. Boasting an array of unusual independent shops, local cafes and traditional pubs, you won’t get bored of things to do. Each Friday and every fourth Saturday the Farmers Market comes to town, so you can get your hands on a whole host of locally grown and produced goods.

Richmond

Known as the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, Richmond is a market town with plenty of charm. Despite the many cafes, bistros, restaurants, pubs and bars, little has actually changed in Richmond throughout the centuries. There is plenty of history for you to discover. Enjoy a live show at The Georgian Theatre, which is actually the oldest theatre in Europe. Perfect for all of the family, head to Richmond Castle which is one of the greatest Norman fortresses in Britain.
